DSS restores Tambuwal's security details

The security details withdrawn from the Speaker, House of Representatives, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal by the Department of State Security (DSS) has been restored.

‎Tambuwal's spokesman, Imam Imam confirmed the development Wednesday evening.

‎Imam stated that only the DSS have restored its men earlier withdrawn from the Speaker.

‎The Speaker's security details were withdrawn on October 30th after his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Sergeant-at-Arms, the security arm of the National Assembly had served as his detail during the absence of the official security details.
