DELTA WATERWAYS SECURITY DISSOLVED

UGHELLI-Delta State Government, yesterday, dissolved the state Waterways Security Committee.

Secretary to the State Government, Mr Ovuozorie Macaulay, in a statement, directed the chairman and members of the committee to hand over all government property, including vehicles in their possession to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.

The statement said: 'It is hereby announced for the information of the general public that Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, has approved the dissolution of the Delta Waterways Security Committee. The dissolution takes immediate effect.

'Accordingly, chairman and members of the above-named Committee are directed to hand over all government property, including vehicles in their possession to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government. A new Committee will be constituted soon.

'The governor thanked all concern jointly and severally, for the achievements recorded by the Committee during their tenure.'
