IGBO RESIDENT IN LAGOS URGED TO PAYING TAXES

IGBO resident in Lagos have been urged to always perform their civic responsibilities by paying taxes, while also cooperating with the government in its efforts to transform the infrastructure development of the state.

This was stated by Dr Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu, Eze Ndigbo of Lagos State and chief host in his welcome address during the 2011 New Yam (Iri-Iji) festival held in Lagos, weekend.

Eze Nwachukwu said Ndigbo was appreciative of Lagos State government on the marvelous jobs it was doing, with particular reference to roads construction.
