Nigerian Stock Exchange Get New DG

SAN FRANCISCO, Jan 19, (THEWILL) – The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) today announced it has appointed Mr. Oscar Onyema as the new Director General of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).

Onyema was a former Vice President of the American Stock Exchange (AMEX).

He takes over from Mr. Emmanuel Ikazoboh, who acted as Interim Administrator following the removal of Dr. Ndi Okereke-Onyuike as Director General last year.

Also, SEC announced the appointment of Mr Ade Bajomo as an Executive Director, IT and Market Operations.
