PDP Moves National Assembly Primaries

ABUJA, Jan 04, (THEWILL) – The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has again announced a major change in its congresses to elect candidates for the 2011 general elections.

The party in a statement today from its National Organizing Secretary, Prince Uche Sekondus said the National Assembly congresses will now take place as follows:

House of Representative Congresses – January 06, 2011.Senate Congresses – January 07, 2011.

Sekondus said following certain logistic problems, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party directed the re-scheduling. He emphasized that the venues for House of Representatives and Senatorial Congresses are Federal Constituency and Senatorial District Constituencies respectively.
