AHRC Extends Warm Eid Al Adha Wishes, Calls For Vigilance And Unity.
The American Human Rights Council (AHRC-USA) extends warm Eid Al Adha wishes to all Muslims, hoping for a blessed, peaceful, and safe celebration. Eid Al Adha, the “Feast of Sacrifice,” begins on Friday, June 6, 2025, and will be observed for four days.
As one of Islam’s two major holidays, Eid Al Adha marks the culmination of the sacred Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina—a deeply spiritual journey and one of the five pillars of Islam. AHRC offers its heartfelt greetings to all pilgrims, wishing them a safe and rewarding experience.
This year’s Eid arrives amid profound global challenges, particularly the ongoing war and humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the West Bank. The devastating loss of innocent lives, especially among displaced civilians, infants, and children, underscores the urgency of compassion and unity. Despite hardship, Muslims continue to uphold the enduring traditions of Eid with resilience and unwavering faith.
Eid Al Adha is a time of joy, generosity, and reflection—a powerful reminder to extend kindness and support those in need. AHRC encourages continued humanitarian aid efforts and calls upon communities to stand in solidarity with the most vulnerable.
AHRC also urges vigilance during mass gatherings and encourages Muslim centers to implement safety measures. The organization and the broader community deeply appreciate law enforcement’s unwavering commitment to ensuring security during this sacred occasion, especially during Eid mass prayers in Dearborn, Detroit, and the greater metropolitan area.
"We extend Eid Mubarak wishes to our friends, supporters, and all Muslims worldwide," said Dr. Saleh Muslah, AHRC Board President.
"The Feast of Sacrifice teaches us the profound value of selfless giving. We urge everyone to extend generosity to those in need," said Imad Hamad, AHRC Executive Director. “We hope and pray that by next Eid Al-Adha peace and justice will be the reality in the Holy Land and across the world,” added Hamad.
