TOPIC: THE NECESSITY OF THE POWER OF GOD SCRIPTURE: How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. ACTS 10:38.
It has been established that the Power of God is one of the most vital necessities of life.
The Power of God is necessary because it is the answer to the multiplied challenges and afflictions of life. Where the Power of God is lacking, people are swallowed up in the challenges of life. But when the Power of God is released, challenges and afflictions are dissolved.
While in Pakistan, I saw the manifestation of Gods power as never before in every meeting and in every crusade we had.
You could see that the people were hungry to see the manifestation of Gods power. It thought me that one of the major thing that pulls Gods power towards people is hunger. No wonder Jesus said blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled. Hunger grows the power of God to a person and manifestation becomes easy at that level.
Also, The power of God gets manifested by the combination of the Word and the Spirit
As the word was preached and the people were hungry , miracles began to happen on large scale. I saw deaf ears pop open, I saw paralysis die on the spot as a totally paralysed man became healed and began to move his body. Something he has not done for years. I saw all manner of manifestations and God showing up to gloryfy his word and fill the hunger in the people.
Beloved, by all means, ask God to empower you. The Power of God is needed in this evil world. You need God’s Power to stay alive and fulfil destiny.
Make up your mind to make demands on the Power of God. Be determined to always camp with God to contact His Power. Before this year comes to an end, you shall see God manifest in your life at a higher level in Jesus Name.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the grace and discipline to camp in Your Presence. Help me to contact Your Power as I remain in Your Presence, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
