The Voice Achievers Award 2023 Honours Dr. Mona Al Mansouri In The Netherlands

The renowned Fashion Icon and Entrepreneur with global appeal, Dr. Mona al Mansouri was recognized with the highest award at the just concluded 'the Voice Achievers Awardin' Almere, The Netherlands. She bagged the African Heroine Award during an elaborate ceremony attended by hundreds of guests from around the world.

The founder of the awards, Elvis Iruh in his remarks stated that Dr. Al Mansouri does not need award as she is an award institution with collection of international awards in the cause of her career.

Remarkably, she waited patiently all through the ceremony watching other awardees receive their award and recorgnition before it got to her turn.

According to the organizers. Dr. Mona is an exceptional individual with a pure heart of gold in her commitment to her work and humanitarian activities. It is their desire that she plays the role of a motivating figure towards the advancement of Africa for a long time to come.

Her remarks at the ceremony was laced intellectual decour and a touch of reality which earned her a standing ovation at the fully packed up hall. she said derives joy and fulfillment whenever she supports or empower the youths thereby making the world a better place to live and pursue dreams and accomplish them.

Dr. Mona Al Mansouri having participated in the award events for the first time has promised to be part of the 2024. Additionally, she gave her words to sponsor a global Fashion Show as part of activities to mark and celebrate 25 years anniversary of the Voice magazine, a statement that drew applause from the audience.

She also threw her support towards the success of next year's award ceremony in Egypt as suggested by Dr. Mostafa Hadhood. We therefore look forward to Egypt 2024.

In a list of 185 nominations, Dr. Mona al Mansouri topped the selection as we recount her immense contributions to the advancement of the fashion industry across the global from the Middle East to Far east Asia, China, Europe, America and now Africa. Her exemplary contributions through her humanitarian works speaks volumes of her commitment to the development of the Africa continent and Africans in the diaspora.

Dr. Al Mansouri dedicated the award to the children, women and vulnerable persons across Africa, promising to do more with the award as a booster dose.

She appealed to others who are blessed by God to join hands with organizations like the Voice magazine to accelerate support for the less privileged.

And in no particular order, alongside her were other distinguished recipients of the Voice Achievers’ Awards, 2023 including Dr. Mostafa Hadhood, Dr. Dayo Duyile, Dr. Ernst Josef Franzek, Kalin Modev- Krata Holiday, Dr. Beatrice Lukose, Nikoletta Samonas, Fester Imoh, Godian Ejiogu, Madelon Grant, Ingabire Delphine, Rev. Dr. Raffic Osman, Sainey Jabbi, Lucy Den Teuling, Nyima Jadama, Amos Odhiambo Onyango, Haidy Bijnaar, Aichetou Mefire Njoya, Patience Odeh-Gerrits, Vice Versa Global, Caroline Omondi-Pouw, Philip Kahindi Kadenge, Malaika Oringo, Babah Tarawally, Lara Gureje-Oderinde, Jerry Fisayo Bambi, Zaineb El Kadiri, Nelson Samuel Carrilho, Joyce Adams and Marylyn Marthins.

Another significant colour to this year’s event was the official launch of the special publication of 104 inspiring Africans in The Netherlands.

Guests at the event were entertained by Djembe Band Zamana from Cameroon, Uniekgrace and a 18 year old Nigerian -Dutch born rap artiste, Donna Daniel.
