PDP Chieftain Sues For Peace Between Diri, Dickson

The ongoing cold war between the Bayelsa State Governor and his in-law/political godfather is fast depleting the fortunes of the party in Bayelsa State. Concerned party members are worried that if it is not quickly arrested, it will most likely result to election calamity against them.

A ranking member of the People's Democratic Party in Bayelsa State, Elder Christopher Orukeme has sued for peace in the frosty relationship between Dickson, former Governor of Bayelsa State and his successor, Gov. Diri.

In his words he said 'only unity between Diri and Dickson can ensure victory for our great party. It pains me when I see the Diri and Dickson media boys insult themselves on social media, that is not the way to go

'They should unite because it's the only way to defeat the APC. I urge supporters of both camps to also sheath their swords'

'Let peace reign and I urge our leaders to put the house in order'

'We can no longer keep pretending that all is well, the signs are there for all to see. Let us all unite under the Umbrella'
