KCI New Terminal Project Subcontractor Outreach Over $1.3 Billion Project.

This meeting was an advisory note to all minority-owned construction services firms, organized by The Black Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City with Edgemoor Real Estate & Infrastructure. Together with CLARK Construction Group, WEITZ Company and Clarkson.

The KCI Terminal Development Committee selected Edgemoor to build a new single-terminal airport for Kansas City. They promised to deleiver a transformative project, creating new jobs, providing meaningful opportunites such as:

• Preconstruction
• RFP = Request for Proposal
• Procurement
Community Benefit Agreement (CBA):
• Workforce Devevlopment
• Jobsite Support Services
• M/WBE Business Support
Meeting was held to address concerns and inclusion of trade unions, subcontractors, minority men and women while carefully guiding against domination and re-occurrences mishaps, while ensuring, everyone is carried along regardless ofmanpower, resources and affiliations. Response to unanswered questions are due in another week.

While HOPe Care Services sees an envelope of opportunities, also thanked the organizers and will not hesitate to increase its workforce for a bigger chunk of the project from the onset. The development of a new terminal at Kansas City International Airport will enhance Kansas City's world-class reputation by adding a world-class airport that will spur economic development, increase the long-term capacity of M/WBE and local firms, and build the workforce of the future.

More meeting information are as follows: Tuesday, and Thursday January 16th at the Mohart Multipurpose Center (3200 Wayne Ave, Kansas City, MO 64109) from 3:00PM-5:00PM another meeting is planned for January 18th same time, same venue. The final public meeting with Edgemoor begins at 6.00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Evangel Church off the 103rd Street.

City officials, company project representatives, trade unions, chamber of commerce, small business administration, minority firms and the press were in attendance.
