BREAKING: LP's only senator joins APC

The only member of the Labour Party (LP) in the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege (Delta Central), has announced his defection from the party to the majority All Progressives Congress (APC).

Senator Omo-Agege made the announcement on the floor of the plenary on Tuesday.

He based his decision on the internal crisis rocking the Labour Party as reason for his defection.
