AFCON 2017 FINAL: CAMEROON BEAT EGYPT 2-1 TO CLINCH TITLE WITH A LATE WINNER
Cameroon have won this year’s African Cup of Nations Cup by beating Egypt 2-1.
This is Cameroon’s first title since 2002. Little wonder their players were seen running around and jumping on each other.
In fact the scorer of the winning goal Aboubakar received a yellow car for over-celebrating.
With the victory Cameroon effectively ended Egypt’s 24-match unbeaten run and avenged their defeat in the 2008 final.
