Residents of Sokoto beg 'Baba Jonathan' to come back

Former President Goodluck Jonathan visited the family of the late Ibrahim Dasuki on Thursday, where he was accorded a rousing reception..

Dasuki, a late Sultan of Sokoto died on Monday, November 14.

He was the father of Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd), who was Jonathan's National Security Adviser during his tenure as president.

Jonathanvisited the Sultan of Sokoto and the family of his National Security Advisers, Dasuki Sambo over the death of late Alhaji Ibrahim Dasuki a former Sultan who died at the age of 93.

Many of the Sokoto residents who came to welcome  Jonathan to the ancient city of Sokoto carried placards some with the inscription 'Come back Baba Jonathan'.
