Time: 6 p.m. — 8:30 p.m.
Location: Kempinski Hotel
Target: Reporters focused on matters of science, health, crime and other topics affected by DNA analysis, as well as those interested in the U.S.-Ghana bilateral trade relationship
Background:
Prior to the installation of ITSI's DNAScan at Green Medical Centre in Accra, DNA tests had to be sent abroad for analysis. With this equipment, DNA tests for paternity, crime investigations, identification of remains and other issues can now be completed domestically in less than 90 minutes. This launch represents a new partnership between ITSI-Biosciences and Skones Security Ltd and is a direct result of the September 2015 U.S. trade mission to Ghana.
