The Way Forward On #BuyNigeriaToGrowOurNaira

The only thing we understand as Nigerians is more consumption of goods we don’t produce and less of what we produce. We don't understand the importance of creating and building wealth. The fundamental rule in building a great nation is to keep your money within your racial group.

In most developed countries they hire, buy, and spend what they produce. There is nothing wrong with that but it is a basic rule Nigerians cannot comprehend and follow; "He kills his fellow Nigerian daily instead of wanting to see Nigerian do succeed" 93% of blacks killed in America are by other blacks. Our leaders steal from us their people and send the money back to our colonial masters from whom they borrow the same money to grow our economy.

Every successful Nigerian wants to spend his money in the country of his colonial masters. They go on holidays abroad, buy houses abroad, school abroad, go for medical treatment abroad etc instead of spending this money in their own country to benefit their people. Statistics show that the Jew's money exchanges hands 18 times before leaving his community while for blacks (Nigeria) it is probably a maximum of once or even zero.

Only 6% of black money comes back into our community. This is why Jews are at the top and blacks are at the bottom of every ladder of society. Instead of buying Louis Vuitton, Hermes, expensive cars, shoes, houses, dresses etc, why not industrialize Nigeria, build banks and get rid of colonial institutions by putting them out of business.

In recent Nigerian issues, Sen. Ben Murray Bruse, C.E.O of Silverbird Group has championed a good course, creating a social media campaign of #BuyNigeriaToGrowNigeria, a campaign I would gladly call a political joke targeted towards busting our economy. As good as his campaign may sound; I am still wondering if this would go beyond a social media campaign and affect our naira as anticipated. Every Nigerian wants to be rich, but how is this possible when we spend more of our money on foreign goods than our own locally manufactured made in Nigerian goods?

We Nigerians have proven to the world that we can manufacture up to the standard of what other manufacturing countries produce. In states like Abia State amongst other states, shoes, cloths, bags, sandals, etc have been produced to compete with goods from Italy and other foreign nations. The question now is why Nigerians are not opting for more of our goods than we crave for others foreign products? The recent fall in our currency (Naira) has however raised eyes brows towards the purchase our made in Nigeria products, as one method of busting our economy in other the raise the value of our Naira.

As good as this may sound, the government is yet to take a good stand towards improving our own made in Nigeria products by investing into our industries and putting high tax rate on every imported foreign goods. In making our locally manufactured goods cheap and affordable for purchase by the general public, less than the cost of imported foreign goods, would go a long way in boosting our economy, create job opportunities and grow industrialization across Nigeria.

In simple language, it must be a clear case of leadership by example, it sounds like a joke if our law makers spend millions of naira on foreign customized Italian goods, and then makes a law that every Nigerian must buy made in Nigeria goods. Even though In recent broadcasts, “Mr. Commonsense” Sen. Ben Bruse has worn and published his newly acquired made in Nigerian goods as an advocator of these great movement of #BuyNigeriaToGrowOurNaira, I still wonder why it took him these long to realize that made in Nigerian goods (Aba Made) where of quality and could boost our naira if we purchased more of it?

Let us take responsibility of our problems, unite, and vehemently fight corrupt leaders who run down our country and run to IMF as though IMF is Father Christmas. Let us criticize any government official who shows up in suite and ties as though they where our slave masters. We must tell a friend to tell another friend that buying made in Nigerian goods can change our situations in Nigeria, and rocket our economic standards. Be Patriotic and let us join hands in building our beloved nation. Don’t just make #Commonsense, let’s take #Commonactions.
