Kano state fire service to partner with Niger state Government on fire fighting.

The Kano State Fire Service has expressed willingness to share knowledge with its Niger State counterparts to enhance performance.

speaking while receiving Niger State Committee on Fire Service Restructuring, said Kano Fire Service has the facilities and personnel to render the necessary training, the excutive director kano state fire service Balarabe Habu Kabara.

He said we have the necessary facilities for the training. Our training school has been upgraded to a college status and it is affiliated to the Kano University of Science and Technology. We are expecting the Niger Fire Service men for this training.

Kabara further explained that the service has been training fire men from the zone since the establishment of the school in 1978.

Earlier in her speech, the head of the Niger State restructuring committee, Afiniki Daudu, said they were in Kano to share experience and know more about the Kano Fire Service activities.

We are going back to intimate our governor on what we have seen with a view to re-structuring the Niger State Fire Service for better performance, she said.
