Supreme Court affirms Taraba governor's election

The Supreme Court has affirmed the election of Darius Ishaku of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the governor of Taraba State.

The Apex Court dismissed the appeal filed by the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Aisha Al-Hassan.

The court said that the appeal lacked merit.
The Supreme Court said t would give reasons for the judgment on February 22, 2016.
