Intrigue As Judge Is Transferred In The Case Between Emeka Ike Vs Ibinabo

The drama and saga in the case between the Nollywood ICON and president of Actors Guild of Nigeria Emeka Ike and the embattled Ibinabo fiberesima has taken a new twist as the Chief Judge presiding over the case, Justice James Tsoho is said to be on transfer and case assigned to a female Judge.

In a chat with news men, barrister Peter Oboyi, counsel to AGN President, Emeka Ike said “We came with the hope that this matter would be resolved in our favour so we can focus and properly implement our developmental plans. As we speak, our members are still being harassed and intimidated across the country, but the court in his wisdom has assigned the case to another Judge. We don’t feel comfortable at all, Justice Tsoho would have been allowed to conclude this case, Barrister Oboyi said”.

Hours after the case was adjourned by the new Judge, Ibinabo fiberesima issued a statement that she is back as president of AGN and that she has declared WAR on Emeka Ike and his team with full backing from the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase whom she has pertitioned and has given her the nod that Emeka Ike and his loyalists across the country would be arrested. the statement said.

However, a top source in Ibinabo’s camp confirmed to us that her boss Ibinabo has a hand in the transfer of Justice tsoho who is seen as a threat to their aspiration. “ You will see that January 28, 2016 the tide would swing in our favour because everything is signed sealed and delivered” the source said

On march 16, 2015 the federal high sitting in Lagos and presided over by Justice James tsoho in a landmark Judgement sacked Ibinabo fiberesima as president of Actors Guild of Nigeria and dissolved the board of trustees citing gross misconduct and contempt of court.

. Ibinabo then described the court Judgement as a kangaroo and an arrangement by the APC Government to remove her from office because of her support for President Goodluck Jonathan in the last election
