Victor Ochei Gets Asagba, Ohaneze, Okpanam Traditional Rulers' Endorsements

BEVERLY HILLS, March 10, (THEWILL) – The Oshimili South Traditional Council has pledged to support Rt. Hon Victor Ochei, the Accord Party Delta North Senatorial candidate at forthcoming general election.

The Asagba of Asaba, Obi (Professor) Chike Edozien who is also the chairman of the Council gave this hint at the Asaba Royal palace when Ochei visited the monarch and council in continuation of his electioneering campaign.

The monarch revealed that the council's support for Ochei's candidacy stemmed from his exemplary antecedents as a progressive administrator whose stint as the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly is unrivaled, adding that such past attainments are pointers to the fact that the Delta North Senatorial Zone will be assured of meaningful representation, with the aim of bringing the dividends of democracy to the electorate.

Earlier in his speech, Rt. Hon Ochei promised to bring his wealth of legislative experience as a legislator for twelve years as well as being Speaker at the Delta State House of Assembly to engender result-oriented representation of the zone considering the fact that he would be on a familiar terrain of legislative business.

Ohaneze Ndigbo In Ndokwa Too
The Ohaneze Ndigbo in Ndokwa-East and Ndokwa-West Local Government Areas has endorsed Ochei, as the most qualified and suitable candidate capable of providing effective and meaningful representation of the Delta North Senatorial Zone at the Nigerian Senate.

The chairman of the group, Chief Amaechi Nwafor (Thunder) who made this known in Kwale during Rt Hon Ochei's electioneering rally in furtherance of selling his manifesto to the electorate in the locality, stated the group's decision to endorse Rt Hon Ochei was based on the laudable numerous transformational life changing projects that the senatorial candidate has executed in his private and public capacities.

He further pledged to ensure that the group votes massively for him at the March 28 election based on the fact that such will avail the electorate of the dividend of democracy.

Earlier in his address, Rt Hon Ochei promised to always ensure that the interest of the Ohaneze group will be adequately represented adding that his representation will not be selective.

Okpanam Monarch, Omu Anioma Endorse Ochei
The Okpanam traditional council has endorsed Ochei as its preferred and suitable candidate, capable of providing effective and result-oriented representation for the Anioma people at the Senate.

The Ugoani of Okpanam, His Royal Majesty Obi Michael Mbanefo Ogbolu who made this pronouncement when Rt Hon Ochei paid an electioneering visit to Okpanam, submitted that Ochei's endorsement arose from the conviction that the wealth of legislative experience he had acquired in the state legislature, will be brought to bear in proper representation of the Delta North senatorial of zone.

Speaking earlier, Rt Hon Ochei intimated the council of his desire to offer quality representation by ensuring that the basic social and infrastructural projects are attracted to the zone, with the view to availing them of democracy dividends.

Similarly, the Omu of Anioma, Her Royal Majesty Martha Dunkwu has also given her consent to Rt Hon Ochei's senatorial candidature, stating that the endorsement followed her appraisal of Rt Hon Ochei whom he described as being eminently qualified to represent the Delta North senatorial zone, judging by his impressive antecedents.

Also speaking, an Okpanam indigene, Barr Charles Chukwuedo observed that the double endorsements are attestations to Ochei's sterling transformational leadership characteristics, which brought about unparalleled development to the state Legislature.

The National Assembly and Presidential elections have been slated for March 28, 2015.
