Aun Matriculates 125 Students In 2015/2016 Academic Session

The American university of Nigeria, Yola, has matriculate 125 students into various faculties of the institution for the 2015 academic session.

Said 125 students are admitted in the institution based on merit and are drawn from all the nooks and crannies of the nation and outside the country.

said “most of spring 2015 new students, despite the security challenges bedeviling the North East sub region came from the southern part of the country adding that more parents are willingly bringing their children into the institution having realized the commitment of the institution at imparting quality education”.

“So many of the students are from the south, it is warming to see students from all over the country and other parts of the world.”

Dr. Margee Ensign also disclosed that all the 21 Chibok girls in the institution are on complete scholarship adding that the University has ales given between 18 to 20 percent of the newly admitted students of the institution scholarship noting that the institution spends a large chunk of money on scholarship every year.

She disclosed that the reason why the institution cares so much about educating Nigerians is to ensure that the future of the country is guaranteed stressing that institution's major focus is to ensure that the youth of the state and Nigeria are secured by giving them ICT and entrepreneurial training.

Meanwhile, AUN President, while appreciating the women wing of the Jama'atul Nasril Islam (JNI) for bestowing her with an award she said “It is the most significant award I received since I became the President of AUN,”

Noting that there is nothing wrong with any religion but that manipulative people always use its platform to foment trouble.

She advised people to stick to the good teachings of their religion so as to live in peace.
