Real To Clobber Atletico - Poll

The two Spanish teams are set to lock horns on Saturday in Lisbon. While Real are chasing their 10th European title, which they popularly refer to as the ‘decima’, Atletico are seeking their first.

Atletico’s fairytale has been a good story to tell. Diego Simeone passed a Barcelona and Chelsea litmus test to reach the final with a cheaply-assembled squad, compared to his cross-town rivals.

At the time of writing this, 3714 had cast their vote in the supersport.com poll and a whopping 60 per cent said Real will beat Atletico to lift the cup.

Although having gathered just 40 per cent of the vote, Atletico are no pushovers and they proved that when they came from a goal down to hold Barca to a 1-1 draw which saw them win the Spanish league title.

Both teams are chasing a double, Real won the Copa del Rey while Atletico secured the La Liga and the Champions League final promises to be a fiercely-contested derby.
