Boko Haram Kills 217 Persons in Borno Fresh Attacks

At least 217 persons have been killed in five different villages at the

early hours of Friday by suspected Boko Haram terrorist in Borno State.

Confirming the incident , Senator Ahmed Zanna , representing Borno Central

Senatorial District confirm said a total of 217 persons were killed by

suspected Boko Haram terrorists.
Senator Zanna stated that the insurgents dressed in military uniform and

numbering over 50 attacked the villages killing, looting and burning

houses, leaving many other villagers seriously injured .

” Seven teachers were Killed in Teachers College Dikwa, 60 villagers were

killed in Kalabalge while 150 other villagers were killed in three other

Villages” Zanna said.
Efforts to get further confirmation from the Military and the Police

proved abortive as their telephone lines were not connecting.
