Former Minister Of Works, Senator Isaiah Balat is dead.

He was Special Adviser, Special Duties to the Vice President.

He died at about 1pm Tuesday .
Details of his death are still sketchy at the time of filling this report.

Balat, born October 23, 1952, was a politician-cum-business mogul from Kaduna State.

He represented Kaduna South at the National Assembly from May 2003 to May 2007.
