Mike Ozekhome Regains Freedom

Kidnapped legal practitioner and rights activist, Mike Ozekhome has been released by his abductors.

Details of the release were sketchy at the time of this report, but sources said the lawyer was released early Thursday morning.

He has been reportedly reunited with his family, and said to still been suffering from the trauma of the nearly three week forced separation from the outside world.

Pointblanknews.com could not confirm if any ransom was paid to effect Ozekhome’s release.

A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Ozekhome was on August 23 seized by gunmen along the Benin-Auchi road. At least four policemen were killed during the abduction of the senior lawyer.
