Fresh Fighting in Plateau Villages

Unconfirmed reports say fighting has broken out between villagers and some commuters in Riyom and Barkin Ladi, located in the southern part of Plateau State.

Pointblanknew.com could not confirm the cause of the fighting, but sources claimed fighting broke out between the natives and some passengers this night over a minor disagreement.

Pointblanknews.com could also not confirm the identities of the commuters involved in the fight.

Riyom, capital of Riyom Local Government Area of the state, has been a hotbed of ethno-communal clashes between the natives and Fulani cattle herders.

Pointblanknews.com could not readily get the Plateau State Police Command or the Riyom Police Area Commander to comment on the fighting.
