PHCN Ijora district assures quality service delivery • Commissions 2-operational vehicles to drive revenue


The Management of Ijora Business Unit of Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) has assured its customers within its network and environs of total its quality service delivery in other to boost the unit revenue generation.

The business manager of the unit, Engr Uzoh Obialeri gave the assurance during the official commissioning of unit two- operational vehicles at the weekend in Lagos.

Obialeri said that the business unit is committed towards improved service delivery to all its customers, while assuring better improved workers welfare service delivery.

In achieving this, the business unit, said that two operational vehicles and staff social club welfare bus was commissioned to enhanced customers service delivery and workers welfares towards effective revenue generation.

“We have inaugurated business and quality services delivery team in the unit that will response promptly to customer's plight.

“Additional operational vehicles had been commissioned to enhanced service delivery, while recreational centre had also created to workers to cushion efficiency,'' he said.

According  to him, “today we want to recognised and reward marking department staff who have made exemplary achievement within three months  in boosting the unit revenue generation.

Obialeri assured the customers of accurate meter reading, prompt bill delivery and prompt clearing of electrical faults in order to reduce the period of power outages induced by faults.

In his remarks, the Chief Executive Officer of Eko Electricity Distribution Zone, Engr. Oladele Amoda, lauded the business unit for their initiatives and assured his total support to workers.

Amoda promised to support the workers with N 1 million towards improving the business unit recreational centre and social club that is gear towards enhancing effective revenue generation and workers relaxation in the unit.

“ I want to use this medium to commend workers because they were the most hard working and dedicated in Nigeria.

“The workers are more dedicated, they are tagged miracle workers who squeeze water from stone in view of the peculiar and difficult circumstances in which they operate,” he said.

According to him, “Ijora business unit has made us proud, i urged all of you to key into the president Good Luck Jonathan transformation agenda in other to drive the sector forward.

“I implore you to treat your customers as “King'' and imbibed polite way of expression with customers,'' Amoda advised.
