United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping to hold a press stakeout in Khartoum

EL FASHER (DARFUR), Sudan, July 2, 2013/African Press Organization (APO)/ -- The United Nations Under-Secretary-General (USG) for Peacekeeping, Mr. Hervé Ladsous, will visit Sudan on 2-5 July 2013 to meet with senior officials of the Republic of the Sudan and assess operations of the African Union – United Nations Mission in Darfur. This is part of a regional tour in the course of which the USG will also be visiting South Sudan and Mali.

Mr. Ladsous will hold a press stakeout to brief the media on the outcome of his visit to Sudan at the Al Salam Rotana Hotel in Khartoum on Thursday 4 July 2013, tentatively scheduled for 19:00 hours.
