Nigerian Law Professor Receives Cross Of Honour From Pope Benedict XVI

SAN FRANCISCO, November 04, (THEWILL) - Professor Christian Nwachukwu Okeke, a Law Professor at the Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California has been awarded the Cross Ecclesia et Pontifice ‘Cross of Honour’ by Pope Benedict XVI, for his outstanding services to the Catholic Church and humanity at large.

“For as long as life endures, the opportunity to do good and render services ever abounds….” a letter from the Catholic Bishop of Enugu, Callistus Onaga and Diocesan Secretary, Reverend Father Ambrose Agu to Okeke said.

He is scheduled to be decorated on November 09, 2012, by the Papal Nuncio to Nigeria, His Excellency, Most Rev. Augustine Kasuija, during the grand finale of our Golden Jubilee Celebration.
