Nigerian socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has taken a trip down memory lane, reflecting on the role his former boss, Obi Cubana, played in shaping his life and career.
In a lengthy Instagram post, he credited Obi Cubana for bringing Opium Cubana to Owerri in 2016, which he said laid the foundation for who he is today.
Chief Priest noted that he didn't just ride on Obi Cubana's success but contributed significantly to the business, becoming the driving force behind its operations. He described how the business grew rapidly, expanding from Owerri to Lagos, Enugu, and Abuja within just three years. He praised Obi Cubana as a fearless businessman who is always ready to explore, learn, and take risks.
The socialite also shared lessons from his apprenticeship, emphasising the importance of serving, learning, and growing under a mentor. .
He further acknowledged Obi Cubana as a walking blessing and a solid investor.
He wrote: "If Obi Cubana didn't bring Opium Cubana to Owerri in 2016, I forgot no be Chief Priest. I did not just lap him; rather, I contributed and became the motion of the business. The motion was heavy, and every day was a shutdown."
