I Promised Never To Marry A Colleague, But God Had Better Plans – Lateef Adedimeji

Popular Nollywood actor and producer Lateef Adedimeji has opened up about his marriage to colleague Mo Bimpe, revealing that he once vowed never to marry someone from the entertainment industry.

Speaking with Morayo Afolabi Brown, he explained that despite his promise, God had better plans for him.

The award-winning actor maintained that despite their religious differences, they did not let it stand in the way. He shared that the most important thing to him was peace, and he assured his wife that he would meet her father, which ultimately led to their union.

Adedimeji also addressed the photos of his triplets on social media, clarifying that the images are not their real faces. He explained that the pictures are AI-generated and that he and his wife will unveil their babies' faces when they are ready.

He said: "I promised never to marry someone from my industry, but God had better plans. I am a Muslim, she's a Christian.

It didn't matter to me because the most important thing before religion is my peace.

She had her concerns, but I told her to let me meet her father, and the rest is history."
