I Won't Work With Anyone Smoking Or Naked In My Video – Spyro

Nigerian singer Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro, has opened up about the strict rules he sets for collaborations in the music industry.

Speaking during a recent interview on TVC, the 'who is your guy' crooner made it clear that he will not work with anyone who smokes or appears naked in his videos.

Spyro also stated that he cannot be on a song that is not clean. He recalled an experience with Shoday, with whom he worked on the track 'Sweet.' According to Spyro, when Shoday was promoting the song in a way he did not approve of, he called him and advised him to give his life to Christ. He noted that Shoday told him to continue his own while he faced his.

The singer expressed his belief that everyone will eventually come to Christ, stating that until every knee bows and every tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord, he will continue to use his platform for that purpose. He described it as a gradual process.

He said: "You can't be in a video with me and you're smoking. That can't happen. You can't be in a video with me and you're naked. That won't happen. I have rules and regulations to working with people."

"I can't be on a song that is not clean, to start with."

"When I did 'Sweet' with Shoday, Shoday was promoting it in some funny kind of way, and I called him. I said, 'Shoday, give your life to Christ.' And he said I should continue my own while he faces his."

"Even if he's not with Christ, he's coming to Christ. Until every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. That's why I'm in this industry. It's a gradual process."
