Marriage Is Sweet – Peller Tells Single Men to Settle Down
Nigerian TikToker and streamer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller has taken to social media to share his thoughts on marriage, just days after tying the knot with his partner Jarvis in Benin City.
In a now-viral video, the influencer playfully advised young men still in boyfriend-girlfriend relationships to consider settling down. Declaring himself a married man, he described the experience as great and encouraged others to follow suit.
He humorously referred to himself as an elderly man now, claiming to have taken the place of any older man who is yet to marry.
Peller went on to promise his followers an honest review of marriage life, stating that he would share whether it is sweet or not. However, he quickly added that so far, it has been sweet, as his wife has been "sweeting" him since their big day.
He said: "You're still doing boyfriend and girlfriend in 2026? You better go marry. I'm now a married man, it's great."
"See listen, let me tell you something as a married man. From my marriage experience.
"I will tell you as a young boy — no, as an elderly man rather because I'm an elderly man now. Any elderly man wey dey alive wey never marry na boy and me, don take your place. You hear me? So I will teach you how it's been working.
"Maybe it's sweet or it's not sweet. I will let you know. But I'm sure it's sweet because you have been sweeting me since that day"
Peller recently announced that he has completed the traditional marriage rites for his fiancée, Jarvis, after travelling to her hometown in Benin City to pay her bride price.
The content creator made the joyful announcement via his social media handle on Sunday, sharing photos from the ceremony.
He expressed his gratitude to both families for their blessings, describing the occasion as the beginning of a beautiful journey. Peller revealed that he proudly paid the bride price of the woman he loves, adding that she said yes to forever and that it is now time to build their future together. He also declared himself officially off the market.
