BBNaija Cross Okonkwo Admonishes Media Personality, Daddy Freeze To Quit Talking About Men And Women Of God
Former reality star Cross Okonkwo has fired shots at media personality, Daddy Freeze, over his comments on Alexx Ekubo's Service of Songs.
Daddy Freeze, who attended the event, went against the dress code by wearing black instead of white. He later posted a video online condemning the pastor’s preaching and slammed gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo for turning the gathering into a concert, adding that he got angry and left the venue.
Reacting to the media personality's statement, Cross Okonkwo via his X handle, shaded him, urging him to keep quiet.
According to him, Freeze is unknowledgeable about Christ, hence he should desist from criticizing men and women of God for sensationalism.
He wrote: "Daddy Freeze with due respect sometimes keep your mouth shut. If you don’t know anything about our father Jesus Christ. Don’t talk. And leave mén and women of GOD out of your mouth."
The Nigerian Voice reported that Alexx Ekubo gave up the ghost on May 11, at the age of 40, following a battle with cancer.
The actor's Service of Songs was held at the Monarch Event Centre in the Lekki area of Lagos State on June 10. The ceremony drew a mix of Nigeria’s entertainment and political elite. The atmosphere was charged with emotion as colleagues, friends, and fans came together to pay their final respects to the beloved actor.
