Burna Boy, Shakira Perform 2026 World Cup Official Song ‘Dai Dai’ In Mexico

Afrobeats star Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy and Colombian superstar Shakira have performed the official song of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, “Dai Dai.”

The duo took the stage at the opening ceremony of the tournament on Thursday at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. The ceremony happened one hour after the opening match between Mexico and South Africa.

Burna Boy delivered a high-energy performance of “Dai Dai,” while Shakira performed the opening verse of the song following J Balvin’s set.

Featuring 48 teams for the first time in history, the 2026 World Cup is being co-hosted by Mexico, Canada, and the United States.
