Actresses BamBam, Susan Peters Lose Phones At Alexx Ekubo's Service Of Songs

Controversy has erupted among celebrities following the success of the Service of Songs of late Nollywood actor, Alexx Ekubo.

Recall that the actor's Service of Songs was held at the Monarch Event Centre in the Lekki area of Lagos State on Wednesday, June 10. The ceremony drew a mix of Nigeria’s entertainment and political elite. The atmosphere was charged with emotion as colleagues, friends, and fans came together to pay their final respects to the beloved actor.

Following the ceremony, actress and former reality star Bamike Olawunmi, popularly known as Bambam took to social media to complain that her phone was stolen from her bag

She wrote on Instagram:

"I already tracked it instantly last night. Last known location was Nnamdi Azikiwe Street Lagos Island. It has not moved from there. Now it just says Lagos Island. It’s probably sold or dismantled."

Hours later on Thursday, actress Susan Peters had expressed disdain over the theft of her iPhone 16 pro max at the same event.

She questioned how people come to such a solemn event with the intention to steak and cause undue stress to others. She further appealed to the public to kindly return her phone.

She wrote:

“IPhone 16 pro max white is missing at the Monarch Event Center. its an E Sim with my US line so we can’t even call it. The screen saver has my picture. Please repost this. Anyone who finds it will be rewarded. Please its URGENT.

“How do people come to such an emotional event and still I have the guts to steal? Even after all Papa Jerry preached yesterday? Make una fear God please return my phone I beg."
