You Have To Belong To A Gang Or Cult To Succeed In Music Industry – Rapper CDQ Alleges
Indigenous Nigerian rapper Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf, professionally known as CDQ, has bemoaned the criteria for success in the Nigerian music industry.
The rapper, while speaking in a recent interview with content creator, JBrandy, stated that the music industry is now dominated by a group, gang or caucus.
According to him, attaining success in the music industry is dependent on associating with a particular cult group or cabal.
Berating the act, CDQ urged his colleagues including relevant figures in the music industry to look into this pressing issue and find an urgent solution to it.
He said: “The music industry has turned to a game of belonging to a particular caucus, gang or cult before anyone could actually help you.
“So, if you are able to achieve success in the music industry without associating with any cabal or cult group, you should be grateful to God.
“If you don’t belong to a particular cult group, you might probably spend a lot of money and not see anything in return."
