Fuji Singer, Remi Aluko Opens Up On Battle With Glaucoma

Nigerian fuji star Remi Aluko has made a jarring revelation about battling an ailment of the eyes, glaucoma.

Speaking in a recent interview on Oyinmomo TV, Aluko revealed that he has been battling glaucoma for years, and is unable to see clearly.

According to the Fuji singer, his eyesight has deteriorated badly to the point of making him fully blind.

Revealing how he previously underwent surgery to treat it, he stated that his condition has worsened. He added that he is keeping hopes alive in order not to fall into depression.

He said: "I’m a glaucoma patient. I’m managing myself; I’m currently not seeing. Despite being a glaucoma patient, many people don’t know. There’s no difference between me and a blind person now, but no one knows because I don’t let my condition weigh me down.

“Thank God that I know how to take care of myself like someone who can see. I decided not to dwell on my condition because I don’t want to be depressed."
