Insecurity Crisis: Mike Bamiloye Slams Those Clamouring For Pastor Adeboye To Lead A Protest Against The Government

In light of the recent criticisms directed at Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, popular clergyman and dramatist, Mike Bamiloye has addressed the criticisms directed at him.

Taking to his social media page, Bamiloye stated that Adeboye has consistently been vocal about the crisis ongoing. Knocking those expecting the clergyman to stage a protest, he maintained that it is unreasonable due to his age and his calling.

He further explained that the narratives against the 84 year old general overseer regarding the protest in 2020 was not ignited by him, but a directive from the Christian Association of Nigeria and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, in which he followed accordingly.

He wrote: "This is what he said. Many bloggers saw this, but they would project it onto others. But he spoke against the Evils.

And for all those who are expecting an 84-year-old man, Servant of God, to lead a Protest against a Government, this does not make sense by virtue of his age and by the Mandate of His Calling. And for all those who said he led a Protest against Jonathan on February 2nd 2010, it was the instruction of the CAN and PFN for every church to stage a protest against INSECURITY in the nation, and he complied and led his denomination too, just as some other churches did.

Our major responsibility as the Church of God is to continually pray for the peace of our Nation and the intervention of God in the Government. I TIMOTHY 2:1-3."
