This Video Is Completely Fake And Misleading – Mo Abudu Warns Public Over AI-generated Video Promising N700,000 Daily

Mo Abudu, the CEO of EbonyLife Group, has issued a strong warning to the public to disregard a viral AI-generated video claiming that she had announced a project which would allow Nigerians to earn over N700,000 daily.

In a post on her Instagram page, the media mogul shared the altered video, identifying the source as a Facebook account, while emphasizing that everything mentioned in the video was altered.

According to her, there is no way she would make such announcement in that way or maner, describing the video as "false and misleading."

She revealed that the original video took place during her trip to Abu Dhabi as a speaker at the Forbes 30/50 Summit on the 23rd of March, 2023, during an interview with Maggie McGrath, Editor of Forbes Women.

Appealing to the public, Mo Abudu shared the original clip, urging them not to part away with their money or finances due to the widely circulated AI-generated video.

She wrote: “It’s important that I address a fake video currently circulating online from a Facebook account called “Naija Capital Growth.” Please note that my voice and the message in the video has been altered.”

“I have not asked anyone for money, and I would never ask for money in this way or manner. This video is completely fake and misleading.”

“For clarity, the original video being manipulated with AI, was an interview I did with Maggie McGrath, Editor of Forbes Women, during my trip to Abu Dhabi as a speaker at the Forbes 30/50 Summit on the 23rd of March, 2023. You can swipe to find the original video."

Please do not send or part with any money in relation to this fake video. I kindly ask that you help me circulate this message as widely as possible to prevent others from being scammed or misled."
