Happy Celebration as Funmi Aragbaye sings Highest Praise

Popular gospel crooner, Evangelist Funmi Aragbaye is set to add fun and excitement to the Yuletide as she hits the market simultaneously with a new CD entitled, “Highest Praise” and the VCD of her last album, 'Happy Celebration.”

For Aragbaye, “Highest Praise” is a thanksgiving album specially produced to commemorate her 50th birthday that was celebrated with fanfare on February 29 at the Premier Hotel, Ibadan, Oyo State.

She said of the album: “When I look at what God has done for me in life, I cannot but thank Him. I have no cause to regret answering the call of God to sing. As a music minister, I have traveled around the world several times. In fact, God has done great and wonderful things in my life that I cannot count. So, I have decided to produce the album to show gratitude to God.
”
A sneak preview of “Happy Celebration” video CD, however, reveals a superb presentation of aesthetics and quality. Shot with a hi-tech camera, the picture is beautifully presented while the sound is clear and audible.

A 5-tracker, “Highest Praise” parades hit songs like “Congratulations”, a wedding tune, ”Kabiyesi Re” and “Highest Praise” amongst others. Released by Wuraola Records and Films, the two works are available in music shops across the country.

“Evangelist Funmi Aragbaye has a good name which we are banking on as our marketing strategy. My intention is to repackage and re-launch her into the market because she has not always been around,” concluded Wuraola Records boss, Mr Jonathan Adeboye.
