Senator Pwajok dies at 49

Pwajok Plateau State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the April 11 election, Senator Gyang Pwajok, has died.

He was 49. The late politician defeated 16 other aspirants to clinch the party's primary.

Pwajok represented Plateau North in the National Assembly between 2011 and 2015.

He withdrew from the Senate to contest the governorship election.
