Biodun Okeowo, Femi Branch, Others For Nigerian Achievers Award

Nigerian politics has indeed brought out the inner most part of those practising it to the fore front of the public and its international affiliates.

Recall the dramatic display or rather call it show of shame from former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Orubebe, In Abuja, at the collation centre of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), where he publicly accused the chairman of the body, Attahiru Jega, of rigging.

“I have concluded plans to join my folks in the APC to champion and sustain the movement for a better Niger Delta in the new administration,” he wrote.

This sounds interesting as the same 'political entertainer,' Orubebe, had in April, 28, stated that it was so unfortunate that President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, was trying to drag the masses backward rather than move forward.

In his words then, “It is rather unfortunate and shocking that President-elect, Gen Buhari is trying to take us back to over 3 decades ago.”
