Burna Boy Is Underrated—Weird MC

Female Nigerian rapper, songwriter and producer, Adesola Adesimbo Idowu, better known as Weird MC, has expressed dissatisfaction over the way fellow artiste, Burna Boy is not well celebrated in the industry as expected.

The Ogun State-born energetic artiste, who closed this year's edition of the annual musical concert, 'Felabration', held at the New African Shrine in Lagos, says she is yet to understand why Burna Boy is not getting the necessary accolades yet, despite the richness of his music.

She said, “Honestly I feel that Burna Boy is so underrated [and] I don't get it at all.”

Weird MC suggests that maybe the market does not understand his class of music, adding that his class is not so complex.

Burna Boy, who has made a difference for himself with his type of music, recently disclosed that it is certain everybody cannot like his class of music. "I don't expect everyone to like me and my music. I just appreciate those that do,” he had said recently.
