Governor Imoke Sacks Two Community Relations Officers
… Appoints Five New Ones SAN FRANCISCO, January 14, (THEWILL) – The Cross River State Governor, Senator Liyel Imoke, Tuesday relieved two Community Relations Officers (CROs) of their duties, just as he appointed five new ones.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Christian Ita, said the two CROs relieved of their jobs are; Mr. Pius Bassey – Odukpani and Mr. Aloysius Ene – Calabar South 2.
Consequently, the Governor approved the appointments of Mr. Godswill Eki and Mr. Francis E. Effiong as replacements for Bassey and Ene respectively.
The other three new CROs are Mr. Agbor Ogar Inagu. (Ikom Constit. 1); Mr. Emmanuel Elom (Ogoja) and Mr. Inameti Oyo-Ita (Calabar South const.1) The statement directed the sacked CROs to immediately handover all government property in their possession, including their official vehicles, to the Office of the Chief of Staff to the Governor.
