Actress-Cum-Politician, Nkiru Sylvanus Abducted By Gunmen

SAN FRANCISCO, December 16, (THEWILL) – Popular Nollywood actress and a Special Assistant to the Imo State Governor, Ms. Nkiru Sylvanus, has been abducted in Owerri, the Imo State capital by gunmen.

Reports say the actress was kidnapped on Saturday night at a location near Concorde Hotel, where she had acted a function.

The kidnappers are believed to have made contact with senior officials of the Imo State government and have demanded N100 million for her freedom.
