Over 160 Winners Emerges in Unity Bank Aim, Save & Win Promo Across the Country

Over 160 winners have emerged in the Unity Bank Plc's Aim, Save & Win promo first zonal draws held in five zones nationwide on Saturday May 26, 2012.


At the Lagos and West zonal draw which was held at the Allen Avenue branch of the bank Lagos, attracted promo regulators, external auditors of the bank, customers and media practitioners saw 32 customers from Lagos and West zone winning the Star prize of the Seventy Five Thousand Saving Category and Five Thousand Saving category and other consolation prizes in the draw.


A customer at the Broad Street branch, Mr. Waheed Karimu Alebelewe, won the Star prize of Motorcycle popularly known as Okada under the Seventy Five Thousand saving category, while another customer from Balogun branch, Mr. Igwefe Stanley Nkenne won the star prize of 32” Plasma TV under Five Thousand saving


Mr. Ibidun Jacob Sunday from Yaba branch, Mr, Gregory Ugibadia won the consolation prize of a generatinset each while Three refrigerators was won by Mr. Oguntele Oladipupo, Mr. Olatunde jegede Odutola and Bamkole Omilani Adunni respectively under the seventy five thousand saving category.


Under the Five Thousand saving category, Three winners went home with a bicycles each, Two winners went home with two generating sets each while 10 winners carted home a GSM telephone each.


The Zonal Coordinator of the promo Mrs Yemi Adeyinka in her welcome address thank all the customers presents for the strong loyalty with the bank adding that Aim, Save & Win promo special promo to reward customers across the country for doing business with the bank.


She said, “The Aim, Save & Win Promo is one way of saying thank you to our customers. We cherish their contributions to the growth of the bank. If you already have a Unity Bank account t, you will automatically qualify for our draws if you save at least N5, 000 and leave it for 45 days in that category; Some of the new lucky winners contacted on phone were full of excitement and gratitude to the bank”


Addressing the audience at the draw, the Executive Director, Lagos & West , Mr. Lanre Fagbohun explained that the idea behind the Aim, Save and Win promo reward is to encourage Nigerians to develop a culture of saving for the rainy day which could also be used for investments. "It's the only way we can secure our future. What one can achieve with money well saved cannot be overemphasized. This reward is all about appreciating our customers and also saying thank you to all of them for their loyalty. We would like to use this opportunity to assure all our customers that this campaign has come to stay," he stated.

For a customer to qualify for the zonal draws existing account holders only need to maintain a minimum balance of N5, 000.00 and N75,000.00 in each saving category to stand a chance of winning. No documentation is required. New customers, however, will require to open a Unity Bank Saving Account and start maintaining the minimum balance for 45 days until the qualifying date for the draw. And the more money one saves in his account, greater the opportunities he has to win.
