PROGRESSIVES MUST CHART NEW COURSE -TINUBU

By NBF News

National Leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has advocated the coming together of all progressives in the country to chart a new course for Nigeria in order for the country to move forward.

Tinubu in a democracy day message, observed that Nigeria is not moving forward but stuck in the effort to improve its economy, while millions of Nigerians are slipping into poverty.

The ACN leader, who spoke on the opposition's plan to capture power and turn Nigeria in the direction of growth and development, decried the current lack of capacity in governance, stressing that without capacity, the nation will end up with a visionless and directionless government.

'Right now we are headed in the wrong direction and our current leadership mu st apply itself to the task of nation building. 13 years of PDP leadership have seen us making little progress. We have had years of waste and little growth. We have witnessed deficiency in leadership, intimidation and abuse of rule of law and transparent corruption,' he stated.

He said Nigeria is worth dying for and urged all Nigerians not to give up on the country, stressing that democracy remains the best framework within which people resolve their differences by choosing their leaders while sending some packing.
