LOBI REGISTER FIRST AWAY WIN

Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi yesterday at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City defeated host Ocean Boys 2-1 to claim their first away win this season.

Home boy, Tony Okpotu came in as substitute to give the Makurdi side the victory, after Ocean Boys took the lead through an own goal scored by Lobi's Terna Ikpeen in a goal mouth melee in the  21st minute.

But, Okpotu, opened his first goal account for the season by drawing parity in the 50th minute and then scoring the winner in the 75th minute to give Lobi their first away win of the season.
