Open Letter to the Chief Justice and Fellow Judges of the Nigerian Supreme Court.

Title: The World is watching us; it's too early for me to start losing my head.

Sirs/Madams,
It is more than likely that as at when this letter gets to you, you may have already finalized and put finishing touches to your decision

(judgment) in the case of ACN/Akpanudoedghe vs. PDP/INEC and Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State. After all it does not take much to say case dismissed. Please permit me to explain to you why I use the above quote from the Chief Justice as a title for this letter.

Simply put, it's to remind you of how the hope of Nigerians and even the world was raised high on hearing you make the above pronouncements.

The world thought then that the angel from above that we all were waiting for (the redeemer) has finally arrived Nigeria, that we are all saved. But listening to your tirade on the same case, the same courtroom with the appellant attorney Kola Awodein- San, on May 14, 2012, telling him and the rest of the world that the very case that you pronounced” Must be heard on merit” with a new 180 days, is the very case you were fighting with the appellant lawyer telling him and the world that the case will never be heard was nothing but awful. Are we to assume that the Nigerian Chief Judge, when he made the above pronouncements did not know the Nigerian constitution? To me this was pathetic and pitiful to say the least. Using old age as an incurable decease to defend your indefensible position was dreadful.

If I may ask SIR, how long does it take to make an oral argument when briefs are properly filed and the judges find time to read them? How long does it take to render judgments? You should know that this is what Nigerian tax payers pay you for, to give unbiased judgments in a timely manner. If the information we have and also making the rounds is true, that you did sacrificed your position on the alter of bribery, by receiving from Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State the sum of two billion Naira and from the Governor of Benue State the sum of five hundred million Naira to share among yourselves also that you met and finalized this bribery deal while you were in the state of Arkansas in the United States of America a few weeks ago, Then there is no polished way to put it, but rather plainly point out to you that you have individually and severally murdered and destroyed the country of Nigeria and posterity will never forgive you. Where is that arbiter of hope for the common man? Where is that arbiter of hope for the downtrodden?

You the Chief Judge we are told you are retiring, we hope that you live long enough after retirement to enjoy your bribed money if that is true, and also watch the effect of your action from the sideline when it materialize. I know you all are not aliens to Nigeria; you all live here with us and have heard of all the promises and counter promises of violence during the 2015 election. Why? Simply because all hope in the Judiciary system in the Country has evaporated. If you had done what you were suppose to do honestly as most Supreme Court justices all over the world do , I think most of those politicians will know and fear that if they rig the election ,or murder to get into the office , they will have to answer to the Nigerian Supreme Court. The era of impunity would have been drastically reduced.

The world is now not only watching you as you earlier stated, but it's rather now seeing through you and I can bet you that what they see is not a pleasant sight. As at today, the list of murdered, kidnapped and imprisoned victims directly linked to Governor Godswill Akpabio in Akwa Ibom State is enormous (copy enclosed) .Almost all who entered the race for Governorship against Godswill Akpabio were either killed, family members kidnapped, shot at, wounded, raped or imprisoned. Most of the election rigging is on video, u tube and still photographs.

Will this mountain of evidence convince you to do the right thing? NO!

Maybe because your judgment will now be decided on the backdrop of a Ghana must go. It is not my place to try to sway your Judgment one way or the other, your minds I know are already made up, and I am certainly not trying to do that but I will like to make a very unusual appeal to you, if this judgment is prejudiced by an ill gotten wealth, (bribery), please append a note to that effect so that all in the legal profession who otherwise would have cited your ruling in their briefs would know that it is tainted with bribery and should avoid it

. A lot of constitutional issues have been raised by the appellant in their briefs ,please read it before making your judgment because your last argument with the appellant lawyer clearly revealed that you had no idea what they were talking about, you just wanted to get rid of their case maybe to earn your money . Please note it's nice to be important but more important to be nice. (Unknown) You were all given a chance to save part of the world, but you all chose the wrong path instead. Have fun while the victimized cry in pain; after all it is their faith to be born Nigerian.

Thank you
