Following a series of unimpressive performances by the players and technical crew of Ibadan soccer warlord, 3SC in the ongoing Premier League season, the team's newly constituted board has wielded the big stick on the Head Coach of the team, Festus Allen, by placing him on an indefinite suspension.

It would be recalled that the team suffered three successive defeat, which now leaves Shooting Stars within the relegation zone, as it occupies the 17th position on the 20-team log with 17 points after 16 matches.

More heads are still like to roll within the top ranks of the management, according to an insider, who does not want his name in print in the total overhauling process the team is presently undergoing.

This decision was taken after a two-hour team's performance appraisal meeting by the management and board.

'This resolution has been communicated to the former Bukola Babes gaffer and his two assistants, Hakim Busari and Tunde Odubola have been asked to stand in until futher directives.

Meanwhile, the Oyo State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Dapo Lam-Adesina, has urged 3SC followers not to be disenchanted with the present predicament of their darling team, while assuring the teeming fans of a better days.

He said that his ministry and the board would not rest until the team gets back to its winning way. He called on the fans to always troop out as they have been doing to support 3SC when it confronts Kwara United tomorrow at the newly renovated Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan.

'We will not rest on our oars until we return Shooting Stars to its enviable state in African football. I'm happy to inform our fans that Lekan Salami Stadium has been approved and that is where our match against Kwara United will be played,' the commissioner noted.
